We recently had the opportunity to purchase some exotic leather and equipment from a company that went out of business. This leather is not as high-quality as our fashion leather but is tough and the price is right. This leather is top coated, meaning the finish is sprayed onto the surface rather than being pollished into it. This type of leather is commonly used in the western or craft market. We've named it "Cajun Leather" to differentiate it from our fashion leather and because it came from Louisiana. This is an opportunity to try working with exotics at a bargain basement price, as most of these prices are below wholesale. The animal of origin, type of finish, colors and price are as follows: Alligator: semi-gloss, palomino flat or belly skin average 23-29 centimeters. $5 per cm. Alligator: semi-gloss, orange-tinge palomino belly skin average 22-33cm. $5 per cm. Alligator: semi-gloss, black flat or belly skin average 21 - 24 cm. $5 per cm. Alligator: semi-gloss, black hornback average 23-24cm. $5 per cm. We have some wallets made from palomino belly skins.
