Refrigerated trucks are the most cost efficient means of transporting alligator meat. Generally speaking, minimum freight loads of 1,000 pounds can be delivered within 1200 miles of Lakeland for around $160.00. Frozen freight delivery charges to the Central portion of the country and middle part of the Pacific averages around $250 and the Pacific North West around $350 respectively.
