1 1/2" Western Belts
Our line of western alligator belts differs slightly from our fashion line, as the western belts are designed to look and actually be a little more rugged. The lining tends to be a little tougher and thicker and the alligator cover is only available in 3 basic colors. The alligator leather cover comes from the tannery with a little more oil in it and lasts somewhat longer when used under adverse conditions. The splices are easier to detect than in the fashion belts and minor imperfections are left in the alligator cover. The overall appearance projects a semi homemade and authentic western look and there is no doubt that the belt is handmade from genuine alligator leather and not a cheap factory made imitation. Because these products are easier and faster to make, they are somewhat cheaper in price but are actually a little more durable than our fashion products. We do not use hornback leather because it does not last as long and all of our products carry the same quality and satisfaction guarantee.
