1" Alligator Straps (Straps Do Not Have Holes and are ordinarily used with compression or cam-lock monogram buckles. Straps and belts are not interchangeable. See description at bottom of page before ordering.)

These 1” straps ordinarily measure approximately 15/16” across the lining side and are usually ordered by customers who have vintage or monogram cam lock buckles. An internal"cam" locks the belt in place therefore the thickness of these straps is critical. It is imperative that we have a strap, that is designed to fit your particular buckle or the actual buckle in hand. We will keep a log of the specifications for each of your compression buckles in our database thus enabling us to manufacture straps for you in the future. Since pass through or cam lock buckles are extremely harsh on the belt and lining, we recommend that you choose the harder smoother classic finish or the polished safari alligator cover and a standard lining. Because these pass through buckles tend to cut the stitching, the edges on our straps are not stitched. We use a different gluing process on the straps and to date have never had a cover separate from the lining. This combination of a stiffer lining and no stitching will extend the life of these straps. Your special order strap will be shipped without a buckle.
